An excellent value Cru Bourgeois from this interesting terroir on the same gravelly heights and nestled between the Margaux appellation and Saint Julien. This elegant wine is round, well balanced & silky smooth. Dark cherry fills the nose with notes of oak & cedar
Taste: Full of dark fruit and there is a lift of ripe red fruits too which give the wine added elegance and complexity. The fruit soften to reveal warm spice & notes of oak. This particular vintage is a delight to drink and has interesting complexities which will continue evolving.
50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 47% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot
